Non working product within a week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the dryer on June 4 and it set up June 5. I used the dryer once. The second time received a signal of F9 and E2. Someone came and I believe he said the compressor. For a brand new appliance that doesn't speak very well. Also the information on working the product need better clarity.

energy saving and adjustable temp

Great product but some annoying maintenance issues

We've had this dryer for four years. We tax it pretty heavily with our family of four. Drying performance is great, drying times are a bit longer than regular dryers but that's not a problem. We've had to replace the main motor once (for those who are hearing a loud screeching sound, that's what it is), and the drain pump once (a similar but quieter screeching sound). It's annoying that the heat exchanger isn't more accessible and easy to clean, but even with heavy use in a house full of dogs, it actually didn't have much fluff inside when I cleaned it out one time.

Not worth the money

Wouldn’t buy this again. We purchased our dryer in 2021. It ran okay for a little but eventually started making this loud screeching noise. We’ve had a technician scheduled through Whirlpool come out twice to fix it. Both times we’ve paid and the problems have persisted. The dryer can also take a very long time to dry a relatively small batch of laundry.

Promising dryer

Absolute Garbage

Bought about 2 years ago. Worked well the 1st year. 2nd year it got worse and worse. Took it all apart to clean (terrible design BTW) and it STILL takes 6 hrs to dry a SMALL batch of clothes. Had a tech come by- test everything...said "it seems to be fine- all the sensors check ou) meanwhile he never actually tested it or even pulled out a multimeter. Called the help line- lady said they could send a tech to check it out- well we ALREADY had a tech come...he says it's dine BUT ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE 6 HRS TO DRY 3 TEA TOWELS!! ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE PRODUCT- EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY.

Great Dryer Ventless

No Help From Whirpool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer less than a month ago and Whirlpool says it will not help with a replacement- We placed our dryer in the garage, no mentioned we should not place it in the garage as it works off of ambient air. So the dyer works but it doesn't get hot enough to dryer the clothes. they keep wanting to send out more technicians to look at it even though they say there is nothing wrong. They told me to move my dryer do a different location, who has the option to do that? I can move it outside, which from what they are telling n=me will make it worse as I live in the mountains.

Do not buy this junk

This dryers has many issues. 1. The sound of drying - high pitch noise - supper annoying. 2. It doesn't like big bedding sheets - it wraps them into a ball and it doesn't dry bedding really well. I have to do two cycles. 3. After one cycle of drying it is impossible to turn on any drying program, because the machine starts sensing the hot air from the previous cycle and thinks that everything is dry. So to override this stupidity I can only turn it on if I use "Timed Dry" option. So much for energy efficiency! Who designed this? You people should be ashamed. I bought this dryer, because it was the only heat pump big load dryer on the market. I have a feeling I will replace it with a new one when another brand will come to the market with a big heat pump dryer. Until then I have to live with this piece of junk.
